Hi guys todays post is a review of one of my subscription boxes that I receive, this one is called Ipsy Glam Bag and it is 10 dollars a month and gives you 4 -5 sample size products a month and a makeup bag. This is different from the boxy charm because it is just samples. I however have liked getting the samples because if it’s a product that I am not fond of I don’t have that much to use. I will state if I kept the product or if, I passed it along. Just because I have limited space and need to make room for each item. I have been a subscriber to Ipsy for about 5 years now.
I feel this is a good way to try out products that 1- I would not think to buy for myself and 2- I could not afford to buy. To get started with Ipsy you fill out a beauty quiz letting them know what you like and what you don’t like, then they send you the products according to what you put. There is now another option for Ipsy and that is the Glam bag Plus and it is 25.00 a month and gives you 5 full size products. I have not upgraded to that yet so this review is just the regular glam bag. This is the bag for April and what I got in my bag. Also, I need to make a disclaimer I have paid for these bags with my own money.

*Ok guys I love this nail polish, this lasted almost a week and a half without chipping on me without using a top coat that is really great, my only negative for this is that it is not purple to me it’s more pink than purple but I don’t mind that. I will be buying more colors of this brand I do think this is worth the price.
VASANTI COSMETICS
Contour Eyeshadow Blend It Out Brush- cost $18.00
The dome-shaped brush head is just the right size and shape for contouring and defining your lids—so you can finally master that cool, cut-crease.The bristles are fluffy and densely-packed and great for blending everything from neutral shadows to your darkest, smokiest colorsDouble duty alert: You can also use this baby to apply cream concealer. It’s 100% synthetic and 100% awesome.
*I like this brush; I love getting brushes in my bags and this one is ok it blends well and I like that it is smaller than others but I would probably not buy it on my own for 18 dollars that seems a little pricey. I am glad I received it in my bag.
TARTE
Double Duty Beauty™ Base Tape Hydrating Primer- cost of full size $30
This brand-new primer does more than keep your makeup in place—it’s loaded with healthy ingredients, like jojoba and grapeseed extracts, to help keep your skin hydrated for 12 full hours.Coconut oil nourishes, smoothes, and moisturizes skin with a scent that’s fresh, light, slightly tropical, and not at all overpowering. Why’s primer important? It creates a thin barrier between your skin and makeup that prevents your skin’s oils from fading your foundation (which can make it look splotchy). It’s also why primer helps your makeup look even and last longer. We know—just the thought of using something oil-based feels heavy on your skin. But the texture of this primer is light like a serum, so your skin soaks it right up.Like all of TARTE’s products, this one’s vegan and cruelty-free.
*I LOVE the smell of this product, it smells like coconut, so that is very pleasant, it does feel hydrating which could be the cause of my breakouts on my face, more testing is needed to determine. Will I buy again? Probably not I do love Tarte products and I do feel that if you have the money they are totally worth it, but if I am going to spend 30 dollars on Tarte there are other products I would get that I know I love and know for a fact will not make my skin breakout.
LAURA SANCHEZ
Moods Eyeshadow in Rose Gold Woman- for the full palette $25.00
We picked these shadow singles from LAURA SANCHEZ’s Moods Eyeshadow and Highlighter Palette, which is packed with beautiful colors for any occasion—so now you can take them wherever you go.Whether you’re looking for a pop of color, a touch of glam, or something neutral for every day, these matte and metallic eyeshadows are highly-pigmented and blend easily with your fingers or brush. Some eyeshadows can crease and fade after a while—especially if your skins on the drier side. This creamy formula doesn’t suck out moisture and lasts for hours with minimal touch-ups.Rose Gold Woman is a metallic, pinky-gold that’s not only on-trend, it’ll give your eyes a warm, romantic glow.
*this is a good eyeshadow single, I had to build it up quite a bit to get the color pay off that I like, but it does give a very sultry glow, I don’t have many metallic eyeshadows so I was excited to get this shadow. Would I buy the full palette? Nope this is the only shade in the palette I would honestly wear. But its very pretty I just don’t wear many greens or blues.
APTO SKINCARE
Nourishing Mask with Blue Spirulina – full size is $16.00
Skin feeling dry and tight? This mask is super hydrating, so it immediately quenches your skin with a dose of moisture. The formula is packed with blue spirulina, an algae that protects your skin and helps fight damaging free radicals. It’s also spiked with squalane, known for improving elasticity (so your skin will look ultra refreshed). No animals harmed. This baby is all-natural and vegan. The pretty pastel blue hue makes it really fun for Insta-stories.
*Ok this is an ok face mask but it is geared toward people who have dry skin, I do not… I am a grease ball. This did nothing that I could see for my skin other than make it seem more oily, I am sure this would be amazing for someone with dry skin and I feel they would love it. There is nothing wrong with the product itself it did what it said it would by adding moisture to the skin. But I do not need any extra so not for me. I would not buy this again. However, if there is an oily skin version, I may have to consider it.
Thanks for reading today, what did you get? Did you get similar to what I got? And do you love it?
