Hi Guys, todays post is something a little different it is a requested post. I will on several occasions will teach my children how to make a new recipe. YES, my kids cook and yes, I make them cook at least 1 day a week. Because of this they love learning new recipes and this time my son suggested I share the recipe with you all. So here we go.

ree

Seafood chowder

2 Cans clams

 about 12 shrimps chopped

2 oz. of Imitation crab chopped

3 potatoes peeled and diced

1 yellow onion diced

2 cloves garlic minced

4 stalks green onions

1 jalapeno chopped 1 can sweet corn

1 tsp lemon pepper

3 cups milk

1 stick butter

Salt to taste

First off start will a pot on medium heat melt butter, add the yellow onion and cook until the onions are clear, add the garlic cook for 1 minutes. Add milk, and potatoes, cook until potatoes are fork tender. Add the clams. DO NOT DRAIN. Add the juice and all it will add flavor to the broth.  Add the shrimp, and crab and the corn. Add the jalapeno and simmer for 10 minutes. Add the lemon pepper and salt to taste. Add the green onions and cook long enough for the green onions to be soft. Remove from heat and serve with bread sticks or crackers. Garnish with some black pepper.  This soup makes about 8 servings and can be made ahead and frozen.

I hope you all like this recipe If you try it out please comment what you think. Also, you can take out the jalapeno but it really gives it something extra in my opinion. If you would like me to post more of these kinds of posts please leave me a comment. Thanks for the added support thanks for stopping by.
