MY FAVORITE THINGS FOR APRIL 2019

These are a few of my favorite things for April 2019 …

Tv Shows I have enjoyed this month (I believe all of these are on Hulu & Netflix)

· The walking dead- I know this isn't a new show and we got late on the band wagon, but this show has been in my watch list for awhile and I finally got around to watching this and it is addicting, and aggravating, not scary but i didn't expect it to be. This one is hard not to get addicted to. My favorite character is Hershel   

· Total drama series- This is a cartoon that spoofs the TV show survivor. I started watching this with the kids while they eat breakfast and are getting ready to go to school. This is quite humorous.

· Law and order SVU – this has been a favorite of mine, I am currently watching season 20 I love the characters of Olivia Benson and Odafin Tutola

• Ncis- Again this has been one of my favorites for a long time and i am currently watching season 14 so I will be all caught up soon.

Movies that I watched this month

· Tales from the crypt Demon Night- This is a movie basically about the fight between good and Evil, I like this movie because of the dark comedic undertone.

· Blazing Saddles- This is a Mel Brooks movie and I am a huge fan of all his work, He makes very tongue in cheek movies and I feel that Blazing Saddles if not taken in the right context could be a rather offensive movie, due to some racial jokes and derogatory humor.

• Bumblebee- This was one of the newest movies I have seen lately, this was an OK movie it was hard to see the connections between this movies and the transformers story lines however if you don't compare it to the others this was a good movie.

• Hop- Because Easter was this month this was the Easter movie my kids picked this is a very cute kids movie about the Easter bunny

• The starving games- this is a spoof movie, it was spoofing as the title said the hunger games, this again is one of those tongue in cheek movies that jokes could be viewed as offensive.

• Tucker and dale against evil- this is a horror comedy movie that I feel could fit in the spoof genre. It is based all on a misunderstanding and I feel it is hilarious, However be aware that this is rated R and has lots of blood and gore.

• Aquaman- This was the other fairly new movie that I seen this month, This is a good movie I loved the special effects and think that the CG was amazing, And of course who wouldn't want to spend an hour and half staring at Jason Momoa...! He is a hunk.!

Books I have loved this month

• I started reading again and have found a new love for Dean Koontz

• Also I am super excited that the audio versions are on Youtube and I am currently listening to one of my favorite books Dragon tears

Makeup/beauty favorites

• Boxycharm- is my newest favorite. I love that it gives you full size products.

General favorites

· Being able to spend time at home and take my kids to school and be the mom I feel I have neglected being for a few years.

· Been trying to get the kids on a homework schedule and trying to get caught up on some housecleaning (ugh seems like I am always trying to catch up and never can get ahead on housecleaning Lol)
